Inspired by world cuisine and her bringing up in Tel Aviv, Israel, Mashav Shelef leads the team of Le Couloir, making sure every event is one to remember. She comes from a technological and scientific background and acquired her Professional French Cuisine diploma in Ferrandi - Paris.

"My biggest passion is food and my goal is to share this love with the people around me. My expertise is in the field of world gastronomy, Intuitive Cooking, inventive and creative seasonal Mediterranean cuisine."


Le Couloir (meaning "The Hallway" in French) is a culinary event venue in San Francisco. Our mission is to inspire people with food. Le Couloir is a place that brings people together through the process of eating, drinking and cooking. Our focus is private events, dinner parties, team building events and cooking classes.

We strive to be thoughtful and appreciative of what is available in the market to come up with the best results cooked sensibly. The principles of Sensible cooking guide us through the process of planning, shopping, cooking and serving creative and wholesome dishes in a more innovative yet responsible way.
